Business Overview
Energy is the original business of Mitani Sangyo handed down by our founders. Since our establishment in 1928, we have worked to provide a stable supply of energy, putting safety and security first, based on our corporate ideal of "staying close to the community and the customer."
The lead actors in energy change with the era and the environment, going from coal and coke to petroleum products and LP gas, and then to alternative energy and renewable energy. We always position ourselves, however, for unchangeable value based on the motto "offering customers their optimal energy environment."
As part of our new initiatives for corporate customers, we are promoting a shift to environmentally friendly energy through fuel conversion from petroleum products to LPG and LNG,introducing solar power systems and storage batteries, and the sale of biomass fuels.
We also have consumers' backs as they try to conserve energy, selling hybrid water heaters, high-efficiency pumps and the like.
Our energy business has and will continue working with its roots firmly planted in the community.
Supporting communities with a stable energy supply
For our corporate customers, we directly deliver petroleum products from multiple oil terminals in Hokuriku-region harbor areas. But we also offer market information such as projections of trends in supply, demand and price, helping customers plan production and estimate costs. Our LP gas business for general consumers inspects meters and ensures security, and it is proactively adopting a telemetry-based automatic central monitoring system. We partner with other companies for safe, speedy LP gas delivery. We offer peace of mind as well. In addition to regularly scheduled inspections and maintenance, we have a 24-hour, 365-day structure in place to respond to unexpected sudden alarms from our automatic monitoring system.
In collaboration with other businesses, we support our customers in every season
Mitani Sangyo EC, which oversees the energy business, also possesses a significant advantage by concurrently expanding its chemical business in the Hokuriku region.
We supply chemicals as raw materials and auxiliary materials used in various production factories to numerous clients in the Hokuriku region, and we support the development of regional industries.
Through the extensive network built via energy supply, we leverage the comprehensive capabilities of the Mitani Sangyo Group to provide various equipment, machinery, and air conditioning facilities for businesses aiming at improving productivity and working environments in production sites.
Additionally, we provide solutions for general consumers who need maintenance of household air conditioning and water facilities.

Since our founding, the basic philosophy of Mitani Sangyo has been, even with conventional business schemes, to hold fast to the unchanging, essential nature of an endeavor while proactively changing and staying a step ahead of the times. Mitani Sangyo EC, having inherited these principles of tradition and innovation, is the core of the Group's energy business.
In October 2009, the current form of Mitani Sangyo EC was started.（Through the merger of the former Mitani Sangyo EC and Mitani Gas.）The synergy created by the merger of the two companies made possible the development of a wide-ranging energy business that serves customers in all kinds of industry types and business conditions in the Hokuriku region.
With the pride of knowing we are expanding the original Mitani Sangyo business, energy, we will continue contributing to the development of industry and people's lives in the Hokuriku region.
